Bob and I shared a love of the classic Citroen DS - at one time he owned three which he ran as wedding cars.

When I took early retirement and started looking for one to buy, the second car I looked at was the last of Bob's three white cars. His knowledge and love of the DS was obvious, so I knew I was doing the right thing by buying it. He gave me a lucky horseshoe to use if i ever used it for a wedding.

We kept the car for 15 years. It gave my wife and I enormous pleasure and took us all over Europe on holidays.

Almost every year I went to see Bob and Meg and sometimes we went on a trip somewhere in his old car.

Bob was very helpful to us, and we always enjoyed his company. We'll treasure our memories of him.
